Editorial policy
Recommendations follow the evidence and use case, not the possibility of commission. We may recommend a cheaper option, buying nothing or choosing a merchant with no affiliate programme.
We do not invent ownership, physical tests, certifications, reviews or user experiences. Important facts need sources; inferences are expressed as analysis. We correct material errors and record substantive updates.
We choose products and topics for their value to the reader. Commercial eligibility may determine whether a guide can support the publication, but it does not determine the winning option or erase a relevant alternative. A paid destination is identified near the buying area in the concise form required by the applicable programme.
Titles and summaries must describe the actual decision. Comparisons need distinct options, common criteria, tradeoffs and recommendations by use case. We avoid unsupported rankings, fabricated prices, copied reviews and claims that turn a connector, certification or headline specification into capabilities it does not establish.
We review links and evidence as products change. Readers can send a correction with the page URL and source. Material mistakes are corrected promptly; updated pages retain an accurate research date. Privacy, disclosure and contact pages remain accessible from every page.
Search visibility does not justify padding a page, changing a date without new work or publishing a shallow variation of an existing guide. Institutional pages explain the publication; forms and account-management screens remain accessible without being treated as search destinations.
